IREC - Integrated Research Centre for Structures

About the Project

The Integrated Research Center for Structures - IREC has its origins in the European INTERREG Austria - Czech Republic project of the same name

IREC advances the reliability, performance, and service life assessment of bridges, tunnels, and other engineering structures. Bringing together expertise from Austria and the Czech Republic, the Centre provides cross-border knowledge transfer, training, and consultancy for engineering firms and infrastructure operators, promoting sustainable and reliable transport infrastructure.
